Santa Claus returns to the beautiful Sorrento in the company of elves, reindeer and all his magical friends. And as per tradition, he sets up his “office” in the park surrounding Villa Fiorentino.
From Sunday 3 December 2023, until 26 December 2023, he will welcome all the children who will give him their letters with the list of gifts they hope to find under the tree on Christmas morning.
This year Santa Claus has decided to do things in a big way. He will have a whole staff of elves to support him. There will be the post office workers, those who take care of the “good and bad children” archive, other trusted collaborators who work in the toy laboratory and there will also be the chefs assigned to the pastry shop.
Instead, it will be up to the dancers of the Academy Musical & Danza to bring the show “The Grinch” to life.
Le Magie del Natale is an event of M’Illumino d’Inverno, the container of cultural events promoted by the Municipality of Sorrento in collaboration with the Campania Region and the Sorrento Foundation.
It will start on Sunday 3 December 2023, at 5:00 pm, with the big parade along Corso Italia with the participation of all the characters that animate Santa Claus’ village. The parade will be marked by the rhythm of a band of fairy tale characters. The small fairy tale village with all its attractions will then be ready to welcome the little ones every day (except December 24) from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. But it doesn’t end there! Many special events are also planned.
On December 8th there will be a magic show, while the afternoon of December 10th will be dedicated to fairy tales with Disney princesses.
On December 23rd there will be an appointment with soap bubbles and on December 26th it closes with Merlin the Wizard’s bingo.
Furthermore, on December 9, 10, 16, 17, 23 and 26, the most lively little ones will be able to dance with the baby dance with Ilaria Propoli and Open Dance.
