There is a Sorrento unknown to most people, off the usual tourist routes and the friendly confusion of the narrow streets of the historic center, always teeming with tourists. It is the Sorrento of green hills overlooking the sea, of fragrant gardens of oranges and lemons, of vacations to be lived at last at a slow and relaxed pace…

This is the Sorrento of La Terrazza Family Holidays, the Holiday House nestled in the green hills of Sant’Agnello, in the characteristic Borgo di Maiano, just 2 kilometers from the main square of Sorrento.

This privileged location will allow you to enjoy the tranquility and silence of the Sorrento countryside, while having easy access to all services and attractions in the area. Within walking distance of the house you will find a restaurant, pizzeria, bar, butcher store, vegetable store, and tobacconist.

The center of Sant’Agnello can be reached on foot in less than 10 minutes, while the nearest beach is only a 15-minute walk away. Private parking just a few meters from the house will provide convenience if you are traveling by car.

From Naples by Car

From Naples, you need to take the A/3 Naples-Salerno freeway, and exit at the Castellammare di Stabia toll booth; once you exit, take the SS 145 in the direction of Sorrento to Sant’Agnello, which is about 48 km from Naples.

Arriving in the main square of Sant’Agnello, where the Church of Sant’Agnello is located (on your left)

Just across the street from the church, on the corner, you will find a Pharmacy

Turn left onto “Via Monsignor Bonaventura Gargiulo.”

Next, walk along “Via Ferraro” in Maiano

After 50 meters, on the left you can see access to the convenient parking lot of La Terrazza Family Holidays

After arriving at Napoli Centrale “Piazza Garibaldi” by “Trenitalia” or “Italo” trains, go to the lower level of the train station, where there are stairs leading to the “Circumvesuviana” station stop.

  • The train from Naples to Sant’Agnello takes about 1 hour
  • A train is available to Sorrento about every 20 minutes
  • The recommended stop is Sant’Agnello
  • The ticket price is 3.20 Euro, and you can buy it directly in the station
  • Once you arrive in Sant’Agnello, follow the “On Foot” signs to reach the house

From Naples Capodichino Airport

For those who land at Naples-Capodichino airport, they can take the Curreri company bus to Sorrento (stopping in the main square of Sant’Agnello).

  • Departure times: 09:00 – 11:00 – 13:00 – 14:30 – 16:30 – 19:00
  • The trip takes about 1 hour
  • Tickets can be purchased in advance or on board the bus

From Rome Airports

For those landing at Rome Fiumicino, it is definitely more convenient with a rental car. Alternatively by public transportation:

  1. Take the train from the airport to Roma Termini
  2. Reaching Rome Tiburtina by metro B
  3. From Roma Tiburtina, take the direct bus to Sorrento of the Marozzi company.
  4. The journey takes about 4 hours
  5. The bus leaves Rome Tiburtina for Sorrento, stopping at the main square of Sant’Agnello

Sea Street

Sorrento can be easily reached from the sea, thanks to ferries from Naples – Molo Beverello to Sorrento.

  1. Once in Sorrento you will find the orange EavBus Line C buses and the Coop. Tasso to Sant’Agnello
  2. The stop is Matteotti Square
  3. Once you arrive in Matteotti Square in Sant’Agnello, follow the “A Piedi” signs to reach the home

From Matteotti Square to La Terrazza

From the main Matteotti Square in Sant’Agnello:

  1. Turn left onto Corso Italia
  2. You will find “Via Maianiello” stairs on your right, which then connect with “Via San Giuseppe”
  3. Take it, and after walking along it for 5 minutes, you will come to a small square
  4. Here you will find the narrow street where La Terrazza Family Holidays is located.

Local Bus

Alternatively, you can take the local bus from Matteotti Square near the Clock:

  • It is a white bus, with destination “Hills”
  • You will then need to stop on Ferraro Street, near the church of San Rocco.
  • The ticket costs 1.00 Euro to be purchased directly on the bus
  • Daily hours: 07:30 – 08:30 – 10:00 – 11:00 – 12:30 – 15:00 – 16:15 – 17:00 – 18:00 – 19:00
  • Weekday hours: 08:30 – 10:00 – 11:00 – 12:00 – 16:00 – 17:00 – 18:00
