Sorrento, the concerts at sunset come back to Piazza della Vittoria

In the garden area will be held “Concerti al Tramonto”, born from a project of the “Movimento 22 dicembre”, realized in collaboration with Fade, with the Federalberghi Penisola Sorrentina and the Municipality of Sorrento.
Four events to offer to the numerous tourists and citizens of Sorrento, suggestions of the classical Neapolitan musical tradition and new sound contaminations.
“The concerts at sunset” explain from the December 22nd Movement “come from an idea of the late Alessandro Schisano, who started from the need to offer the citizens of Sorrento and the many tourists, moments of music in one of the most important places of the imagination sorrentino, whose beauty is an ideal location to harmonize musical notes and suggestion of the place.In this sense it is essential the element of extemporaneousness of the event, which does not require burdensome advertising investments, or the preparation of stages and audiences, as the location in the band between the sunset and the evening of the summer months, it is already a destination for many visitors and bystanders.Also the pre-existent conformation of the square allows natural sessions to enjoy the event “.
The first concert will be Tuesday, May 29, at 20.00 with the duo “Respiro” who will be the protagonist. On stage, the two artists from Salento, Francesco Del Prete (electro-acoustic violin, loop-machine and multi-effect pedal), and Lara Ingrosso (voice, loop-machine, multi-effect pedal, multi-pad and small percussions), returning from various collaborations, among which those with Marlene Kuntz and Samuele Bersani, they will propose to the public original pieces, jazz incursions and tributes to great Italian and international artists.
The show will continue with Lamorivostri on 26 June 2018, Gatos Do Mar on 31 July 2018 and Suonno d’ajere on 28 August 2018.
